till now no sight of the case that the shop which i pre-ordered from. shop told me they still waiting for fuji sg to pass to them. anyone having the same issue as me?

$1547 from SLR Revolution, had pre-orderd mine 6 weeks back or so, no accessories or case though

I want to check with you guys, I got my X100 yest but when I saw the warranty card, it states the card validity date is 30/04/12. Is there something wrong with it? Coz I bought yest 11/5/11 so the warranty should be till 11/5/12 right?

I am abit worried mine is not a brand new set..

A lot of the shops are actually buying from from each other. I know some shops selling stocks that were purchased from HN and reselling them. Chances are it is a new set.

I just want to upgrade the firmware and realise that it is already at firmware 1.01. Think the new batch come with the latest firmware installed.

It means you have up till 30th april 2012 to register your warranty.

Agree with ouverture. It means if the set is not sold by the date stated, the warranty will be void for that particular set.
It's nothing got to do with ur registration/warranty date.

Hi bro, how do u pay $50 to extend the warranty? I thought the warranty card states must pay $170 to extend the warranty?

Just got my X100 this afternoon. Very 'xiong' on moorah. Hope it will give a good ROI.

Any1 has any good settings in the menu so that I can try out?

I encountered a problem in the menu: When i try to turn the AF illuminator on, it wont. It give error like: "Press and hold the Back Button to deactivate the silent mode". I am puzzled...

Afternote: i now know that you need to deactivate silent mode to change the AF illum setting. :embrass:

Oh, btw, this is my new post after many years of absent from CSnap. All becoz of X100. lol

Oh yes, the shutter sound - leaf shutter & focal plane shutter... they're certainly nice addition but i feel they don't sound anywhere near the actual. I would much prefer set it to totally silent....Stealth!

Just picked up my X100 case and filter adapter from the dealer here in Dubai. The good news is that the case is pretty well-made and protects the whole body. I can remove the top half of the case and it becomes a nice half case. I basically keep the full case on to prevent any dings from appearing on the body during transit in my Domke F7.

On the downside, with the filter adapter and a 49mm filter on the lens, the case wouldn't close properly and there is a small gap. Definitely will not fit with hood, although I am somewhat tempted to just use the case full time without the lens cap (since the lens element is well-protected by the case) and leave the filter and hood in my pouch for times when I actually need it.

Is that the leather case LC-100 or the suppose OEM case that comes with the X100? Care to post the picture if its the OEM? Thanks.
