Thanks, finally got it working. Phew! For once, I thought it was faulty.

I'd like to share my X100 exposure problem.
at aperture priority (AE) mode, the aperture blade seems cannot shrink to correct size, hence the smaller aperture I set, the more overexposure. The problem becames more and more frequency (unfortunately I did not summary the above symptom at earlier) and sent it to Fujifilm service centre. When I explained the symptom to the clerk, I found also that if I set to full manual mode and set back to AE mode, the problem solved, but restart the camera, the problem came back.
My camera 's been there for 3 weeks now. Yersterday I called but still not available.
Jeff
Just called, I was told waiting for the parts, the lens need to be replaced.Already 3 weeks still with them!? Oh no, mine just sent a few days, I think me, have to wait long long liao.![]()
Why not? Isn't it better to be able to change lens?Don't know can get it back before x'mas or not. After owning the x100, just don't feel like to use my EP2 anymore.

I c...u can get those optical VF that attaches to the hotshoe, just that it won't match all focal length but still usable i think.Because the EP2 don't have a proper VF. I don't like the EVF attached on the hot shoe.
The x100 operations just like my Contax G in the old days, not the EP2.
Worth or not is really subjectives, no one can answer for you though we can share the expriences with you.It seems there is really a lot of issue regarding the "sticky aperture blade" for x100.
I'm seriously considering buying x100 but after researching, may i know is it still worth to buy x100 ?
Hey buddy, can please pm me the shop and price you got your x100? Thanks.
Yes is a sticky aperture issues as it match the descriptions that I checked over the net.Oh, Qingtian, you also got the sticky aperture issue.
When I sent it back, the clerk heard it's a X100, she gives a “意味深长” (profound in meaning?) smile, which made me , erh, at that moment, suspected if I bought it at correct time....
to notme123, I did not owe DSLR, the only DC I had was a canon powershort S60 bought 7 yrs ago. I've been waiting for a large-size sensor, fixed length large aperture lense DC for years. and finally it came this X100, let alone the beautiful classic style, the wonderful EVF/OVF. hence to me it worth what I paid for....

I went shooting at the World Orchid Conference just now. It is overrated, the garden festival was much better and tickets cheaper. Anyway, I had fun shooting with my X100. Towards the end, I realised my X100 caught the sticky aperture problem...better early than late but I'm gonna miss it for sometime.![]()
I think so. Maybe previously I didn't use as much to realise it. But it's better now than after the warranty. I saw over at DPreview forum that the new replacement set is available already so it's a good thing in a way.you mean you previosly do not have this problem and it suddenly happens or you only realised it now?
