I think so. Maybe previously I didn't use as much to realise it. But it's better now than after the warranty. I saw over at DPreview forum that the new replacement set is available already so it's a good thing in a way.
Wish ur x100 speedy recovery

I feel you.I went shooting at the World Orchid Conference just now. It is overrated, the garden festival was much better and tickets cheaper. Anyway, I had fun shooting with my X100. Towards the end, I realised my X100 caught the sticky aperture problem...better early than late but I'm gonna miss it for sometime.![]()
This is suppose to be the case.you mean you previosly do not have this problem and it suddenly happens or you only realised it now?
How's yours? Have you got it back?This is suppose to be the case.
It happen to mine x100 also.
Yes it had been back in my hand. Hopefully it wont hit the issues again as I came to know from X100 forums that some owners get the problems twice if i dun remember in-correctly.How's yours? Have you got it back?
Cool! I think that may be before the new lens replacement mkII was available. I'm not too worried about it, just enjoy shooting and when the problem surfaces (if it's the old type), just send it to the service centre.Yes it had been back in my hand. Yes, I in fact hope that mine was also with new lens replacement as I just got it back like 2 to 3 weeks ago. ;pCool! I think that may be before the new lens replacement mkII was available. The new lens assembly should overcome the initial problem I think.

If you don't like to use the EVF. Observe the shifting of the focusing box when you half press the shutter button. And, adjusts the focus box to the location where the camera shown during half press of the shutter. I always adjust the focus confirmation box to the smaller for accurate AF.
i keep reading that can adjust the focus box to smaller size using the rear dial etc. but i tried and nothing changed. what exactly do i need to do to change the size of the box??
To change the size of the focus box. You need to;
1. Have the X100 camera.
2. Press and hold the "AF" button, and press the rear dial to adjust the size.
