Will update tonite, hope it solved my X-E1 problems. Hanged for no apparent reason during usage and cant turned on after which. :angry:

D camera is like 3 months old nia leh. Duh. No rush to get 240 leh, demand outstripped supply. Slowly lo. Haha. Get d FLE first.

Weird. I updated both d body and XF35 firmware. Now my intermittent hanged and cannot start up problem is gone. Hopefully it stays this way.

If you get a used lens with a warranty card already filled by the original buyer, does the warranty still work for you? Do you need a specific paper like the ID of the original buyer or whatever?

Hey dude, howz d X-E1 serving u? If u bought a used lens and it had been registered, guess u will need the original receipt as supporting document.

serving very well !! I actually bough a 18-55mm lens very nice. I ordered ND 400 filters for long exposure and also a remote timer (the cheap third party one for canon with mini jack wire) for timelaps.

I saw an interview of a Fuji guy the pancake and the 55-200 are coming next month, but the ****ing 10-24 is coming in one year !!! CANNOT WAIT
By the way, I can't wait the new fuji X-E2 with same feature as X-100S (new super fast AF, 60p video (now only 24P on X-E1, even the 5DmarkIII do only 30P in 1920*1080), lot of feature like focus peaking, auto iso with min shutter speed) nice nice nice

Fuji X system is the best investment ever, all the lens they produce are AMAZING for such a price and weight ..... Unbelievable

Wonder why so many guys selling the X-E1 camera. Selling an X10 or X100 I can understand, but I haven't heard a replacement for X-E1 yet. I guess Fujifilm sold too many of these

Coz many upgrading to full frame DSLRs or Leica M9s.

Many read up about the wonderful IQ and plonk their $ in..

Then they realized that they can't get nice Images from it..
So what do they do?.. Sell it..

This camera doesn't have lightning quick AF..
And no face detection which many see it as a must in modern cameras..

XE1 is not exactly cheap so many may it it disappointing that so many features are missing in a camera that costs more than 1k.. And of course instead of learning how to use it they decide to sell it I guess..

Shows that Fuji marketing is working - god knows how many people bought the camera on looks alone! :bsmilie:

I'm not complaining - I'm the direct beneficiary of one of those guys who bought the camera & found it did not live up to the hype! I can only wish there are more guys like that - I would really hate to have to buy that 10-24 zoom brand new!

I beg to differ that you said you cant get nice images out from the X-E1, it's more of the user's problem than the camera's. In terms of IQ, it is indeed one of the best out there. Not to mention the sharpness and details coming out from the XF 35mm f/1.4 lens when paired up with the X-E1...

i started off with the X-Pro 1 which i got off a bro here..
partly cause i dropped my Olympus OMD and it was beyond repair..
but the X-Pro was really too big for me..

when the X-E1 was launched i went for it immediately..
never regretted cause i know the IQ will be amazing especially with the 35mm lens..

even the 18-55mm kit lens is outstanding..
it should not be called a kit lens..
way way better than your other brands' kit lens..

Actually the camera is quite easy to use... Everything is pretty accessible from the buttons and dials. I've actually been using the exposure compensation dial alot.
