I was surprised that the X-E1 did not have the same feature. On magnification, I did not see the silver outline indicating edges that are in focus. Is this the major difference between the X-Pro1 and the X-E1?
Regardless, I prefer the X-E1 for the small body profile and mainly pairing it with Leica 35s. I still love using my M9 but with the Hawk's factory helicoidal adapter, I can do damn good close-ups with Leica glass on the X-E1.
Honestly I think Fuji has got a real winner in this product range and I can't wait for the X-E2 with the newer manual focusing aids.
I do see some shimmering silver linings at some lighting conditions on my X-E1 while magnified focused.
