Played with it at South Asia yesterday.. 699, inclusive of 1G card, tripod and bag.
Hi bro, where is this place South Asia? Thanks.
yeah, take the external escalator all the way up and you'll get there. 3rd floor. It's located at Funan IT Mall 3rd or 4th floor, you can't miss it.![]()
According to the salesman, when using 2500mAh rechargable batteries, can last about 400 pictures under normal usage.can anybody post a 100% crop on the ISO3200 pictures? Is it very noisy? And also hows the battery life?
hope u get steady shots bro.. i decided not to get it, got a Sony H5 instead over the weekend.
Unfortunately even with image stabilisation, the performance of the H5 is nowhere near that of the S6500 at high ISOs and this is not just my opinion.
Check out the comparisons at various ISOs here:

oh, was looking for a 10/12x zoomer and was tempted by Fuji's latest offering.. I went to the shop to try and found it hard to steady a shot (maybe my fault la).. plus some comments from forums abt the quality and so i moved on... I got the H5 coz reviews quite ok lah.. and got IS... could have gotten the Canon S3 but i guess i like the H5 sample pics more.
Here's a comparison between the F30 (same CCD thingy as the 6500fd) and the H5:

My personal thots lah:
1. I prefer H5 image.
2. I don't see why i need to bump up the ISO just to get a comparable shot as the F30 (and in so doing get the ugly noise). Is the fuji high ISO overplayed till the point where it's used even when it isn't necessary?
3. Review sites differ quite considerably. I look at the H5 sample pics in other review forums and I think the output is more decent than that given by http://www.mg-fotos.de/
