errrrr no leh, the ND filter will require a larger aperture for a given shutter speed, so you have a shallower DOF and avoid going into the f/22 range and suffer from diffraction. f/5.6 is a larger aperture than f/8 btw
Ah ok. For some reason I thought it was related to post #14 pics, which were F20-32. They look good though

"all shot using shutter priority 1/50s and he let the camera work out what is the aperture for correct exposure f20-f32".
I tried using my ND2-400 filter yesterday. The only problem is it's too big to fit my hood on
