Fireworks Shooting Outing (27/7/2002)

my place rain stopped...but sky very very dark think gonna rain some more later.............

Just to fill in some info for you guys, the fireworks display will be on from 0730 - 0800. (Got the info from a friend of mine who is the official NDP photographer for SAF.)

remember last time i ever see fireworks from my house on National Day...maybe i try my luck at home.........

That's very responsible of you Ckiang! I hope whoever organises photoshoots and gatherings (me included) will also bear that in mind! I'll be praying hard for good weather...no just for the sake of the shooters but also for those who are watching and participating in today's event!

we are back !!! Although the duration of the fireworks was shorter than last year, we still enjoy it. I hereby like to thanks ckiang in his efford for organizing this trip and for bringing us to the good spot.

Was at CP just now, quite a big crowd.

I saw a gentleman leading the crowd carrying a D100 (I think), is that you ckiang ?

Would be nice if you all can post some pics.

Dun you guys notice that this year fireworks duration
is shorter and the fireworks is not spread out as before.
Such a disappointment!
But anyway, hopefully that the
actual day itself will be better than this!

yah i agree... i could only get like 15 long exposures before it ended... if only they'll drag it out more and not release so many at the same time!

anyway, thanks a lot ckiang for organising... quite a eye-opener and nice meeting all the CSers on my first outing.

The fireworks on the preview is only abt 50% or less of what you will see on the actual day itself!

Hi all,
Was wondering whether you guys were at the part opposite the cafe? I saw a lot of tripods there... too paiseh to ask .. hee.. by the way i was the second last tripod from the turn into the area where its nearest to the indoor stadium.Did talked to a guy beside me asking how high will the fireworks be shooting.Wondering if he is a clubsnapper.

for me is different ... becoz' it rained , then I went to take the firework shots ..

due to the rain , my basketball game was cancelled ...

Just kidding; no harm taking the first step to break ice; even if they're not from Clubsnap, I suppose Singaporeans are pretty friendly in general!
