Hello, I will be nearby for the fireworks shoot too. But I'm going down for a recce with 2 other friends on behalf of the NTU PVS (Photo-Videographic Society). That means I'm not joining you people. However, I will say hi to you people if i see you!

Currently there are a few good spots, along the Pebble Bay/Cosy Bay area, and from the beach near Nicoll Highway. Both does not have very good foregrounds, but there aren't any other good locations already.

Equipment needed:
1. Tripod
2. Cable Release
3. Film/extra memory
4. Extra batteries
5. Mini Torch
6. Mineral water, snacks, pocket TV, etc.

Ckiang, I think you'll have to 'announce' your Hp number for the ease of communication. Don't worry, so far I've not encountered any 'funny' characters @ Clubsnap yet!

me going for the preview as i've got the grandstand ticket, but not sure whether they alot me to bring camera stand for photo shoot there.

i would like to attend as well. pretty much a newbie when it comes to nite shots and still getting used to my 602z.

i do wonder if the weather we have been experiencing the last few days is indicative of the trend? any wet weather contingency?

How about that bend before Marina? Just before it goes underneath a 'tunnel' where they filmed that Tiger beer advert. Every year alot of people head there... It's right next to AYE the reclaimed land area.

Hi,

I usually don't do this, but this is a special case. Here are 3 locations I did last year, which will be very useful. Make sure after the shoot, you guys treat me to a sumptious dinner! ;p

The map:

Location B: (I left out A) : A little ledge into the sea. The last year I was there, 20 tripods were setup. So we MUST be early.

Location C: Pebble Bay

Location D : The flats in Pine Close, near to Old Airport

wow....thinking of the 3 locations....it's been 1 yr already huh?

Can't remember, 7+ I think. As you can see from the sky colour, quite late. But we need to be there early to get a good spot.
