Both my Nikon SB800 and SB28 works well with S9500. You can get a used SB28 for below $200 (I paid $150 for a used unit). SB800 is too expensive to be used on S9500. SB600 is not suitable because it doesn't have Auto mode and without light sensor (of course, professional will still able to use SB600 with S9500 on Manual mode).farark said:Sure... Here's a list of flashes that the Fujifilm S9500 is believed to be able to handle:
1. Nikon SB-22S - Probably the cheapest Nikon Speedlight still in production. I believe the price should be around $200 without haggling. Specs available from Nikon Singapore
2.
I have seen in the Buy and Sell, someone was trying to sell the S602 for about $300, but fnally deal for $250 without the extras.philipcs said:Dear S9500 Users,

In video cameras, focus is on a separate machanism. Best to just a still camera as a still camera, and get a video cam for video.
Treat the video mode as just a small convenience added, not as a full fledged feature.

Care to share what accessories you've secured for your S9500? Also, where you got it and $price? I'm sure many others will benefit! ;p
Snappy one said:My equipment list for s9500 is -
1) HMC CIRCULAR POLARIZED FILTER.
2) EXTERNAL FLASH - METZ 54MZ-4I WITH STANDARD 301 FOOT.
3) 1GB SANDISK ULTER 11 CF CARD.
4) GRUPPO MANFROTTO 055 BLACK TRIPOD.
Need to get shutter release cable for the camera.
As for external flases any of the recommended flashes for the s7000z camera will work on this camera.
Andrew.

Snappy one said:I paid about $600aud for the 54mf-4i metz flash and an extra $24aud for the standard 301 foot. The gruppo manfrotto 055 black tripod i paid $800aud with extras for the tripod. Yes the metz 54mf-4i flash has TTL function with the supplyed 3402 hot shoe foot, but not if you take this hot shoe foot off and add the standard 301 foot. I bought this metz flash as possible upgrade to a future DSLR fuji or nikon camera.
