Finally gotten my K-x

Actually, I am in Sweden now. So, went to one of the electrical outlet (something like Best Denki in Singapore).

There are also other brands like Cannon, Sony, Samsung.....in display.

But, the price is high...around S$1100 for the basic kit.

24/7 recommended - though you can choose not to, the choice is yours.

your choice...

as mentioned, recommended to be 24/7. You pay so much on your DSLR but scrimp on that bit of moisture protection.. seems just not right to me

Not that i wanna scrimp but mum will kpkb till cow comes home if i on that 24/7.

Maybe you can check out AIPO dry cabinet, i think it has the feature that the power supply to the drying module will be cut once the preset %RH is reached and will operate again when the %RH goes above your set value.

Tell your mum she can put her notes inside also no need to take the trouble to queue at the bank...tell her put as fix deposite for 10 yrs,when u grow up say the interest is 5% much more higer than the bank.Then use the $$$ to invest more lenses...hahahhaah

An alternative is a dry-box that uses silica-gel. Not electricity used but only more troublesome.
