Grim reminder of how PRC drivers usual driving habits in China . Most of them takes for granted their usual practices and drives recklessly in their motherland whether intoxicated or otherwise and bring it over to Singapore.

I only wonder if the media will ever release the information on the toxification report to public as many wants to know if he was under the influence at that point.

This one will be one hot topic in Singapore in the coming weeks.

No way to do defensive driving, the Ferrari hit the taxi like a missile.

You see even in this case the media got to say good things about him. Money and presumably powerful connections do seem magical.

The PRC Ferrari driver in this case has died. Probably not wearing seat belts. He did not expect to die when he was speeding and running red lights.

Maybe PRC super-rich driver always think that:
• If other people die as a result of his reckless driving, it is alright. He does not care. As long as nothing happens to himself.
• Everything can be settled by money, even if other people are killed by him in car collision. In PRC corrupt police and judges can be bought.
• Some sons of powerful PRC officials even dare others when they knock people down.

So all of them carry this mental attitude when they speed and cut across traffic lights. They fully believe that they are above the law and they can buy or bully their way out of it.

Except that in this case, the PRC Ferrari driver never expected heaven's/god's law (which is not man-made) to be imposed. So he has to die as decreed.

anyway, this type of case is common in Singapore. the only reason it's causing a hoo-hah this big is because

2) it's a ferrari

if it were any other case involving a local driver and local victim, it would have been quiet.

and before you judge him, know that NO MATTER what religion you're in, you're not God and definitely not the one judging him. do unto others what you would want others to do unto you.

you never know, if one day you're the driver of a vehicle that causes a sensational accident. do you want the same sentence to be passed down on you? that you were drunk, behaving inappropriately without any evidence? just pure speculation by others?

Who know the next girl sitting beside him are related to you. Or the next person who are killed in like manner are related to you.

looks like i touched a sensitive point with you. no one knows if they may have a disorder, and it might be a sudden on-set.

well, i thought so.

it seems like Singaporeans are not happy with foreigners. and no matter what the case is, Foreigners will always get smacked down faster then they would smack down a fellow countryman for the same crime. so i don't know what it is, that we are forcing our government to turn Singapore into a North Korean-like country? or are we going to be like Australia and lobbying for a "No-Immigrants" policy.

either way it doesn't matter because Singaporeans are just hoping that the country's population will increase on it's own without foreign investment and immigration.
