Hmm, seems my name has been the most famous one here at CS Every time I log in, I see my name on the first page ...
I do hope Pentax will give us another winner this round. It's been like ages since our fantastic K5.
It'd be tough w/ many FF options from other camps, especially some of them selling at sub-2k price already. But I do hope we'd be able to compete those w/ a smaller but better built body w/ built-in SR, great IQ, much improved performance (AF speed/accuracy, WB, flash, fps, buffer ...), and most of all, better marketing to expend our user base. Our name has been fading lately ...

Me too. If it's FF actually I would hold back a little to assess whether I can get what I want out of a camera in terms of lens offerings.
1. Good UWA: remains to be seen
2. Good FE, preferably with Circular option: remains to be seen
3. Good moderate view (50mm -75mm) - cheap and fast: the 40mm XS or FA 50mm f/1.4 that I have will do
4. Decent fast telephoto for portraits: wonder if the Samyang 85mm I have will work on FF, think so
But anyways, FF is always a want not a need. If all of that comes at severe cost to the portability and weight, I'll stick to APS-C. :bsmilie:

That's too much to ask for from me or anyone else don't you think? We can't bring back the glory to Pentax, only Pentax themselves can.

More like counting on Ricoh Imaging to bring two technologies Pentax and Ricoh , up to a New dimension. But Fengwei and Mr Khaw , the two facilitators we depend on this weekend to bring us good news!
And the ppl who make up Pentax as a user base.
Make more noise, post more photos, shoot/discuss.
If everyone wait for the same few old birds,

Everyone need to play their part.
I heard my Jap friend comment that Jap forums, say its aps-c
His comment was a cryptic "As long as the camera is named K? it will be aps-c"
Source was from someone in jap forums who claim that he has relations with ppl working in Pentax.
So maybe the rumored 'A' mount (A for 'Ace'; K for King and Q for Queen) may be true.
Or maybe that source also picked up on the rumors circulating around and regurgitating it on a Jap forum.
I have a hunch that it's not going to be FF this round ....... we will all know in the blink of an eye as the announcement is barely 10 days away .... still keepung my fingets crossed till then.
