i was there la.. at comex .. perhaps the time i went always nt v busy then the guy that quote me the price abit yaya lor.. say cannot go any lower then he start to 'bian' ms n other shops sayign he work there all b4.. hmmm so in the end i went to ms to get it la.. 599 anythign at least can go back. at comex, he said anything must get back b4 the fair ends, i was like... hmmm ok...... so i went back today with another fren, he quoted me 580 w/o batt/tripod/ case.. hmmm

perhaps i got a 'easily to chop' face so try to charge me more? hmmmmmmm or izzit being a gal means dun look serious enough to buy cam? lol :dunno:

I visited the booth twice
first i went to this woman who told me that i couldnt do away with the free VCD player.. had to pay $699 nett. i took a walk around the whole hall, and went back to the booth. approached a guy this time, looks like in his late 40s. i asked him if i could do away without the free VCD player, and to change the tripod for an extra battery. initially he quoted me $600 but i just bargained a bit more, got it for $580.
hope brothers out there manage to get it for a good price! F30 is a real beauty. I'm still charging it for the 8hr capacity. Can't wait to bring it out this coming monday!

Was funny. I was asking abt the original pouch from Fuji but he showed me the third party $48 pouch instead. When i said i got it already he tried to hard sell me a xD card cleaner :bsmilie: whatever for?!

Hello fellow Fuji friends, I am now officially part of the Fuji gang liao.. Juz bought my F30 yesterday afternoon at MSColor.. Lazy to go down Comex and squeeze with the crowds.. Now my cam is still charging.. But from my initial try-out of the cam, can said I am v impressed.. Think it will become my best friend in the very near future. Anyway hope to learn from the experienced Fuji users here..

I didn't bargain much, approach one of the guys at the comex booth and blurt out, "What's the best price you can offer?"... w/o the player freebie was offered $585. Since its about the average quoted price, I accepted it. Now wondering if I should've bargained for the extra battery.

Tried out the camera last night while I was charging it. I was in my room with only the room light on. I happen to have the Fuji carrier bag in front of me (the glossy one), and I pointed the camera at it. I was surprised to see more details through the camera, than I could see with my naked eye on the glossy black reflection. Talk about a sensitive sensor.

I think it is always beneficial to bargain a bit. I bought my F30 one week before Comex at MS. Was quoted $599 but I ask for $590 and was given that price, with 1GB xD, case and extra 3rd party battery. Was pretty satisfied with the price.

So, if you got it at $580 with the above, you're really good at bargaining. :bsmilie:

I got mine at the same price as u with all the freebies at MS yesterday.. Customer service was good as usual.. Was quite satisfied with the price too.. I was originally thinking of going down Comex to try my luck to get the F30 at $580 but felt abit lazy in the end so went MS instead. I stay Woodlands, Expo damn far from me..

Look like u all got quite a good deal at Comex... i went there in the 1st day and 1st hr as I'm flying off in the evening... the best quote i have is $699 and the most is to exchange the VCD player for an extra 512Mb XD card... end up didn't buying it... sigh.... if not, i will have perfect picture for my Taj Mahal tour...
