View and field cameras have stood the test of time, that's why they are still in use till today. If you've ever used one for product, landscape or architectural photography, you wouldn't want to use anything else. I've read documentaries where explorers have gone into deep rainforests and cave-hunting with 8"x10" lf cams. Usually there one guy just to help carry the camera, and another to carry all the supplies.
