I have a noob question :embrass:

Have not tried before 150mm, will there be a significant increase in working distance as compared to the 105mm? ie more working distance to approach those more human shy butterflies?

Tamron 180 is very light. :)

Both weigh around the same the 150 and 180 :sweatsm:

If were to go for longer macro think will lean more towards the Sigma, had a bad experience with Tamron servicing, once bitten twice shy

At least sigma got their servicing agent here. :)

Very weird, some sites say that there is, some people even say they buy, but the people who would know best in Pentax forums and Pentax section here say it's not available. Maybe the new OS version, but who really needs OS when you have shake reduction in-body..

The new Tamron agent doesn't do servicing here? My bad experience is with the previous agent, took almost 2 months to get my lens fixed ;(
