Anyone uses iPad, is it mar fun to transfer and play video... Of any format..

Too much conflicting info on the net with regards to its video playing capabilities. First got site say VLC will solve all the troubles of requiring APPLE FRIENDLY FORMAT, then another site says VLC kena pull plug, then yet another site says VLC is being rolled out. Confusing sia..

My laptop just spoilt, so I'm trying to find out which tablet is a good replacement........... Basically want it to be able to surf net, and play videos and TRANSFER VIDEOS easily or at least let me connect the hard disk to it easily...

Of course, price lower the best. :bsmilie:

So far the Archos 101 seems like a good choice. Creative Ziio seems bogged down by firmware issues, Galaxy Tab is 7" (and expensive), a lot of the other tablets are also crazy expensive. :sweat:

itunes only take in certain format for video.

Yar, I can afford to wait, not going overseas anytime soon...

Not sure if need Windows-based I guess, as long as it runs smoothly. Actually all that needs to be done is to have a tablet with the about 7 hours or so video playback norm, a stable OS framework, and easy transfer and playback of videos, and a good web surfing experience for me.

Come to think of it, maybe I should just stick to a netbook.
