Triple poisonous!
I am ashamed to say I have not executed its virgin shot. Lol. Mean while I had only been fondling it. I only tried out my new fish-eye though. Its much more fun.

Hope Emjay finds another way to publicise this.. and make clear how "limited" this offer is in terms of time and other conditions. But I bet price will still drop below RRP after a couple of months.. we early adopters still pay that premium even with the very nice offer from Emjay. But I'm willing to bite. :D

I seriously doubt it will drop any further.

(Slaps scorpioh thru the internet...) Eh, wake up leh we are all waiting for sample shots... early adopter like you need to persuade us to buy the DA 15mm, so quick go out and take pictures today and write a review with nice properly exposed, well composed pictures, none of that arty farty narrow DOF, bokeh nonsense... :bsmilie: after all got nice sunny weather everyday... aiyah, don't be a lazy gear collector... buy nice things never use what a waste...

Can't wait for the DA15, so I'll probably just keep playing the DA 1224 ... Besides, I'm spending money on the new camera instead :)

kk. Good slap. I'll test it out! Ha.

Any K7 users care to share some samples with ISO 3200 and 6400?
Thanks :)

Hmmm I thought Fengwei own it already

I still find that K7 colour are as much more better than the K20D .(if you know how to fine-tune. or k100d when I used to had... I still find the best photos form FW was taken with his K10D CCD sensors & FW FA* lens.

If only Pentax had Fuji colour ... I seen to be a bit poisoned by s5 pro a bit a edge over the K7. Strange pheonomenal

pre-production.

Note, don't judge the K-7 solely on the photos which have already been published. 1.0 firmware is not out yet.

Not sure even if we test this out during the pentax meet, we should post it. but we didn't sign anything ... so perhaps we can?

I'm still wondering how you test there?

Hahaha ... bright sunshine ... ok ... shd have tested when using Mark D's. Remembered him showing the Toad Picture at very very high iso... my eyes open wide wide!

Tested AF.C on Sat. at the wakeboarding competition, it is indeed much better and consistent. Here is a sample of 14 shots w/ AF.C in 5 seconds of a wake boarder, all pretty much spot on (K-7 + F*300/4.5 wide open):

That's good know. Thanks for the testing fengwei. :) The K20D will have quite a few misses.

Yeah, the K-7 AF-C is definitely much improved over the k20D. I briefly tested it out yesterday with the kit lens as well as the 50-135, and and it can actually track moving subjects....it had no problems locking on to people moving about including someone walking towards me. I still don't think it's as fast as a D300 with a fast ring-usm Nikkor, but my initial take is that the K-7's tracking is enough for most purposes. Anyway, the 50D/D300 will feel like a brick after you've handled the K-7.:sticktong

Ofcourse, AF-S on the K-7 is very fast indeed..no hunting at all..just zeroes in and locks on.

The build quality, feel, ergonomics, speed of operation, shutter sound and handling of the K-7 are top-notch. You'll be smitten as soon as you use it the first time. It feels like a precision tool, and coming back to the K-20 is a bit of a downer :p

Now to wait for a couple of reviews with f/w 1.00 before placing my order.
