EOS - M3

You can get the battery now .. its the same one on the 750D/760D which is already in stores I believe.

Yes, is the same as 750D/760D, but both cameras are also not available in Singapore yet

Any price indication? I am looking at Body, EF mount adaptor, Viewfinder ... should it be cheaper than buying from Amazon jp?

Amazon Japan was "cheaper" was mainly due the 25,000 units of EVF package and rebate on the EF mount and EF-M 11-22mm

~$650 for body + EVF from Amazon JP. EF Mount adapter can be bought 2nd set at ~$80 or brand new on ebay at $100. I think Amazon JP has the best deal after all

What is the retail price in SG? Body with Viewfinder kit? Perhaps also with EF adaptor?

Guys .. Not the M3. I am referring to the 750D/760D. Sorry for the confusion and yes Amazon JP is the only viable purchase route for its excellent price. No one else will come close ...

Not yet in Singapore man, but Digitarev just updates their store. Way expensive than Amazon JP.

Currently an owner of EOS M3, the manual states that M3 shares the same battery as 750D and 760D. Meaning they are all interchangeable

Hi, did you try the M3 with EF lenses? How does the AF perform? . sluggish, slow, hunting etc? Or good enough to shoot some action shots (of course not F1, birding standard I mean) ....

The performance is much better than M1, tried with EF-S 10-18, EF 70-200 F2.8 mk2, EF-17-55mm

In some situations are slightly better than xxxD series. I could still do panning shoots on cars with cars on it.

When shoot with Sigma 8mm FE F4 the perfomance slightly slow.

Btw how does the continuous AF works in M3, suppose u can't choose points like the DSLR?

Here are some images taken with M3

Continuous AF as in Servo? because EOS-M series have a "continuous AF" feature which focus without pressing the shutter button but I turned it off as it is quite irritating.

For Servo, you pre-select a point and half press shutter like DSLR, it works, tried with walking cats and still captures in burst mode (about 3/5 success)

Thanks for the helpful info ... the AF focus speed is fast using EF lens on adaptor? Was very concern about those sluggish hunting and speed ....

Stock availabe today.
