Look at the prism area. FF usually have a larger prism, this is smaller like the xxD series.

I see. Hmmm...
In that case, personally I hope it's an APS-H that can use EF-S lenses.
Well, let's just wait and see.

IT would be so awesome if the 10-22mm could be mounted on it :bsmilie:

i think it's a crop. i tried to sharpen the pic in CS and i believe it says

Canon Zoom Lens EF-S 15 - ...

that's your clue ;)

Very exciting! I wonder how much it'll cost. Can get a big brother for my 40D le.:devil::heart:

And a very nice "sportster" companion to my 5D too! Dare I say Canon is finally delivering value!

100% VF coverage in a NON-1D body for the first time ever!!! This is history as far as Canon is concerned!

wonder if 7D can mounts EF & EFS, like the D700.

Might be dreaming but even at reduce resolution -- like D700's case -- that's still a nice to have.

That means I can keep my APS-C lenses intact. Love 'em. :)

Haha... want to bet? (Intended joke, no disrespect!)
After the picture posted with the EF-S lens in place, EF-S should not be a problem. And EF... well, certainly can. (Wow... I am speaking a though I am the guru).
Still again, I still say let's wait and see.

yup... like the D700 (12MP) reduced to 5MP when a DX lens is mounted.

from cr

From here: http://www.canonrumors.com/2009/08/upcoming-releases-cr3/

it actually stated is
18-135 3.5-5.6 IS
15-85 f/3.5-5.6 IS USM

Which is also same as what I have seen it the picture...
15-85 seems to be a very good focal length... too bad it is not constant aperture...(of at least f4)

It is highly unlikely that this camera has IS on the body. Most likely it has an built-in electronic level - just like in Nikon D3.

Wow, it good for my usage, If is FF will be bonus.
It viewfinding are 100% ,Please correct me ,if i'm wrong.
another are the rotating IS . If it able from Body.
Wow, IS on lens , Rotate IS on body. Can someone count how many stop is can achieve on the lens.

Good upgrade from 40D for me.
It may be APS-H, may be eco version of 1.3 crop.need speed and ISo 6400 is good for action or sport.
Hope is equip with micro lens adjustment.

Canon go can on.

Don't announce stock only available before X'Mas... Need to wait the first wave over first, before made purchase. Standard cycle sure will have firmware upgrade.
