Now i complain why EM10 no silver set when launch again, this was what happend when EM5 was released 2 years back.
They don't have Silver EM5 until about 1month later.

Lol, have to be reasonable la, small with good grip like E-M1 I'm ok, if say EM10, small without grip, hard to use with lenses like 40-150, me no like, use with prime lenses like 12, 17, 45 and 75 then I'm ok with it la lol

Went down and ask they say currently don't have.

Unlikely they'll ever sell body only, based on previous models.

Funny that in the past (during the film cameras era) black is coveted because they're rare, but now silver bodies are coveted because they're the modern day equivalent of the black SLRs haha

Got grip, if hands not comfy can use the grip. Got $100 voucher can buy both grip+auto lens cap with bit top up. EM5 have silver lah but very limited, a friend got silver first stocks then, I "um dui" coz I was just after him on the preorder list hehe. Let me check vivo silver stocks is only for the roadshow or the stocks also arrive at shops. Maybe they have limited stocks so give those who went roadshow the exclusivity? Exclusivity means pay bit more also lor..

Hi guys, getting two sets tomorrow.

Its my first foray into mirror less and M43, dumping my entire nikon for this. What do I really have to look out for when testing?

Basic things like LCD and EVF pixels, buttons, package contents. Lens sharpness, zoom autofocus and etc.

Actually quite amused by some seller in BnS posting their body shutter count, is there still a moving shutter in OMD?

I presume u will be buying brand new sets, hence there's nothing really much to test since it will come with a 1+2 year warranty for purchases during this period.

I will prob just check for overall physical condition, take a few shots, check the sensor, EVF and LCD. General stuff.

Yes New sets. Too bad have to get from different shops as none of them have 2 sets readily.

Welcome to MFT. I was from dSLR, no regret switch to MFT for its compactness and wide range of good lenses.
Wow, 2 sets for own use? Hope to see more photos from em10 users...

Oh no no! I can only remain faithful to one body. Haha one set each for me and my gf.

Under utilising our dslr due to weight, to the point of not bringing it for our last few trips. Torn between m43 oly or Sony nex, but decided against Sony due to many reasons.

Looking forward to 12/2 & 60/2.8 too!

I already feel I made a correct choice going m43 from the Nex the first day I bought the EM10. Super fast AF feels great!

Popped into Vivocity this afternoon. Good to get a hands on, and after doing that, feel I like the black much more. The silver looks like it's painted on (though it probably isn't), while the black is more of an anodised look. The only annoying thing is even if you purchase at the roadshow, you don't get your free gifts there and then; have to go to River Valley like everyone else. Oh, and I noticed that Challenger at Vivocity had one in stock too.

but is the Silver set for sale at the roadshow, or for display and demo purposes?
call Olympus hotline and was told there are no silver set at roadshow, anyone can verify?
