No need bro. 8hrs charge thingy is for the older nickelcadmium battery.
I already prepared to buy but I need to know the focusing speed and accuracy on omd body. The 20/1.7 disappoints me with low contrast objects. GX1 is better on this front.
thanks, anyway already charged 8 hours last night.![]()

Yo brother, congrats!
I am still waiting patiently for mine ...
Not sure what type of battery and charge EM5 has but newer charger and battery are chipped so when it reach full charge the charger will stop charging so if shop folks will tell you to charge 8 hours even you put to 1 day as soon as battery reaches its full charge the charger will stop charging. I think this was impose by Japanese gov't as a new standard Fire and Safety I guess. My EPL2 has this type of charger and battery.
If you want to fully burn your battery what you do when you chare it for the 1st time and use it try using it till it dies (battery) before re-charging what will happen is you are eventually erasing the battery memory and to maximize your battery even more once a while you to topping charge. Topping charge is when you fully charge your battery then remove it from the charger and use it maybe for 5-10 mins just power on your cam and maybe take 1 or 3 shots then put it back to ther charger and let it fully charge again. You'll notice your battery performance is much better. We often notice when your battery is new it discharges it a bit faster but after two or three chanrging you'll notice it last longer.![]()

Usually today's chargers won't stop charging, they will start to discharge until the battery reaches 95% and start charging again. At least Sony, Panasonic and Olympus state that in most of their manuals but I haven't seen the OMD user manual yet.
Really dangerous to stay in a shop. Wait for someone, walked in, test a lens and my bank account lessen with $820 and my bag has a 25/1.4. Really dangerous .....
Not artworkfoto. How much is it selling? Cheaper than what I paid for?
