i am doing my first charge of battery, thought of charging for 8hrs, which some people say don't need.
anyone still charge 8hs even when the battery indicator turns off?

anyone know where to purchase a good quality screen protector from OMD in town/central or normal shops? lazy to travel too far off.. :X

screen protector for LX3 cover most of the LCD screen, but not completely the borders as well.

can get from HV at centrepoint

Anyone tried how's the AF of PL 25mm f1.4 on EM5 compare it to PL 20mm f1.7? I am using PL25 on EPL2 and I find sometimes the AF hunts specially when you try to shoot near it MFD and your subject is like small to mid size flower with lighting coming from behind the flower or in front of you. I was WTF it was not focusing to the AF point I set took me awhile before the AF manages to focus on the subject. But with human portraits no issue with AF so far there are times its a bit sluggish but nothing really bad. It could be my EPL2 so wanted to get some honest feedback from EM-5 owners who also have PL25 f1.4

Its a great lens bro its sharp wide open but suffers from CA or PF did try to shoot with high contrast around f5.6 its was bright day didn't saw any CA or PF.

The I think for the price and the IQ and the bokeh its worth the price. Plus the field of view is something I like for street shooting

I think one reason also is I have a busy background with nearby flowers plus the light coming from behind the subject I think cdaf having problem getting a good contrast. Or could be my epl2.

The CA from this lens is easy to correct though, since the 4/3 system does a lot of in-camera correction.

Yep I shoot raw and JPEG and process using LR haven't tried to develop one of my shot with bad CA only one with minor CA and LR clean it. I think I must post how sharp this lens wide open to poison bro ITGuy hehe. When I view 100% its darn clean and sharp.

I have it. Comparable to my 30d plus 35mm. Very quick and i cant notice any too significant difference from the 12-50mm. It focuses much better at low light though.

No need bro. 8hrs charge thingy is for the older nickel–cadmium battery.
