whats wrong with carrying your gf bag to lesser her load? especially if you see her tired and red marks over her shoulder. theres no need to sling it over your shoulder or hang it over your wrist like those sissy do, just carry it like a plastic bag (of cos make sure u dont drag it over the floor).

if she reject your offer, or tell you it doesnt look good on you, you can ask if she wants to transfer some stuff over to your bag. i dont know whats the big deal with helping to lesser your love one load, afraid it will look bad on you for the public? as long as you look in her eyes, thats enough.

lessen the load by carrying shopping ok... lessen the load by carrying her handbag that is filled with unnecessary stuff no... if she gets red marks then she has definitively too much in the bag, a bag is packed herself

in Australia, if you're seen carrying a sheila's bag for an extended period of time (ie, more than humanely possible, aka never at all), you'd be mocked with sounds that sound like a whipping action. the more brazen ones will ask you if you'll be rewarded later that night, but most of the time, the former will occur.


as for me. I will carry a girl's (regardless of girlfriend or girl and friend status) bag only if it is because she needs her hands free to do something (like, paying the bills for our dinner) or if she is going to the toilet.

I have no qualms carrying shopping bags for the ladies. but when it comes to their personal bags.... anything longer than necessary is out of my books. after all, it is a personal bag. hence, you should be personally carrying it. if the sheila insists on me carrying it out of chivalry, I will tell her rather chivalrously that chivalry coincided with the non-emancipation of women, and she should be at home in the kitchen making me a sandwich and bringing me a cold one.

or I will just offer her a free bra with adjustable cup sizes and support firmness aka my two hands. after all, a bra is a personal item and since you clearly can't handle your own personal items, I'll aid you in your other personal items as well.

And since we are on the topic of women's bag. Is it just me or are ladies bag designs more irrtating, anti sociable and inconsiderate? Especially in the damn MRT or Buses....to an extended even when they walk by you. Why do they need such big bag or badly design bag where it is not very bulky but is WIDE....so when they slip the shoulder loop over their shoulder, the two ends will stick out further infront of them and at the back. In an MRT, they jab you with it and refuse to pull the back over their front so those behind have more space then trying to avoid their bag. Why not hold the bag? It takes up more room when they are on the MRT. The male version are those a**hole with bulky haversack which they refuse to take off their back when they get into the train and put between their feet or hold with their hands. How lazy have we got and the worst part about it..alot even if they know their are acting inconsiderate but will look up away and not care to do anything about it. Makes me wanna give them a tight one across their selfish face.

Because some people (male or female) got no concept of personal space. If really got no space I understand, but some like to stand so close when around them in other directions still got more space. For them, the jabbing is on purpose one...
