Sorry, I don't want to create a thread for non-photography related stuff so got to OT a bit here.
Some of you may know I'm a part-time artist, so if you're interested I have a painting exhibited at the National Day Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition 2010
from 6 August to 12 August 2010 at Ngee Ann Cultural Centre, 97 Tank Road (off Clemenceau Ave).
Well, to me, it's not entirely unrelated to photography. The same idea behind composition, colour, lights and contrasts, etc. can be applied to both visual arts - photography and painting.:thumbsup:
Who knows, you may learn a thing or two and look at your subjects differently after seeing the exhibition
Better still, do the August outing on 7th August nearby (Fort Canning Park), and visit the exhibition after that (free air-con to cool down) :sweatsm:

Second that although I don't carry a fisheye lens. Lots of things to shoot for: sports, family outing, pets, kids, (most importantly) xmm, etc.
If I get bored I can always leave the group and go roller blading.:devil:

just checked with the vendor ski360, nothing on except skating lesson on that morning. any other place of action or sports? IF no other venue, we will revert to the original 3 choices.

Nature, birding & sunrise - Pulau Ubin
