Hehe TS. I went thru the same thing as u.
During the SFF, some "exp equipment carriers" were oso making snide remarks when i mount
my PnS on a big tripod but i just ignored them, after SFF ended I went around shoot night
scene with a friend, again some 'exp equipment carriers' were looking at us and laughing.
Hehe, tat's why nowadays I simply ignore greeting photographers when I bump into
them while shooting. :sweatsm: :sweatsm:
Honestly a good photographer worth his or her salt mostly started off with something small and simple and they get their skills from there. When they are good then they advance to something higher end not because it can give them better photos but because it has more capabilities to let them do what they want to do. The fellow who thinks just using a high end camera will give them solid photos is sigh......
Amazing that this thread is still alive.
Should not you all be focused on shooting happily rather than harping about gear?
