i particularly like this photo for the onion-like colors with the orange lights and the perspective that shows the undulating steps in the alleys. the wall are naturally "dodged and burned" in its original state, and no post processing is needed to give that effect
anyone can advise what does the indians call those flower rings and what are they meant for or symbolised? in what occasions are they used? are they used in everyday's life?

Those flowers ring are garlands called Mala in Hindi. It is mainly used in prayers some ladies wear it in hair as well. In Southern part of India, ladies daily use garlands in their hair.
