Can I ask how close were you to the horse?

group of bakers in leh. it is better to move back and shoot at 14mm onwards. the distortion on the right is a little excessive. and i used to think that my sigma is not sharp, but that is probably it is often paired with filters or shot in low light...

Dear Zoossh
Have always admired your photographic skills and presentations, and also enjoyed your discussions in the other threads.:D
May I ask what settings and lenses were used for these pics?
I like the goat++.
esther :p

Thanks ++ for the information.:)

actually nothing special about the settings lah. the subject is good and the light is sufficient, that's all... sometimes the lens are good...

abstract of bahai lotus temple, new delhi, designed by Iranian Bahai architect, Fariborz Sahba. ironically, iran is where many bahai followers are executed or found missing.

For those who lack in creativity....... we have to try to copy. :embrass:
Thanks.

Thanks.

rather than to say copy, i would say to incorporate features we like. i do the same thing also, but often do not get the same results. likewise, photographers who started later than me who said that they did that, often produced different and better pictures than me, many of whom are more diligent and dedicated photographers who shoot more frequently.

slowly you will be able to tell instinctively what feature you like and what feature you dun like, just like you may like the hairdo from one of your friend and the handbag of the other, but on top of that you decided to have a little more curls of the hair.

Thanks for sharing.
I agree with you and your philosophy.
Teaching and sharing is part of my job in my profession. That's also why it is my inherent (think skinned) nature to ask (and learn by an easier way). I truly hope that it is acceptable to you.
I really do not care much about hair and hand bags (at all). Just have an obsession to do things to the best level that I can achieve. It is a sickness (a mental one).

Always enjoy your posts..

too heavy to be called philosophy. just some observation. anyway, hope to improve on next destination...

wobbly? i dun really see motion blur... they do move a bit though but my frame isn't long exposure.

but if you mean their posture. there is quite some wide angle distortion, plus everyone stand in a different posture and some of them slouched
