Write down the number next to SHTCNT. This is the shutter activation count;
Write down the number next to STBCNT. This is the number of times the flash has fired;
Switch the camera off to revert back to normal operating mode. Congratulations, you have successfully retrieved the shutter actuations information!

Wow, thanks ! Really looks like some game cheat code sia.

Wow, thanks ! Really looks like some game cheat code sia.

It's quite fun and exciting to get the read out.. especially when you buy from bns and that's probably one way to determine if the seller is telling the true. I had once bought a body which seller claimed taken less than 500 shots and i verified that it was less than a hundred.. and that makes me damn happy on the worthy buy. It also show info such as number of times power on, flash count..

Hi there,

For all those who have purchased, can I know what does status "HAWB Printed" in the tracking means ?

I received an email saying that the item has been shipped out and there is a link for tracking. When I clicked that link another window pops out asking me to key in the SRE number. After entering the SRE number, it says under status that the item is "HAWB Printed" ...

What does that mean ?

Thanks

goggle is ur best friend..u need to try use it more.

What is HAWB?

Thanks man ... but to be honest I must admit that after reading it, I still don't really understand leh ... I just take it as it is being shipped out by some airline lah ...

But I do not have the HAWB number as pointed out by the article ... I only have a SRE number ...

Thanks

Didn't know my "great offer" thread can turn into such informative thread LOL Perhaps a little suggestion??

I think some of the infos here are really helpful for m4/3 users, especially the "game cheat code" for GX7 LOL
Maybe you guys can compile into a more appropriate titled sticky (maybe "REAL TRUTH BEHIND SHUTTER COUNT!!!" or something else hahaha...)?? As I don't think newcomer would expect these kind of infos in a "DAISO OFFER" thread hahaha...

I don't mind if there's any chance with this thread!

wow long threads on the qoo sale.

to share...

i bought the em1 from Qoo bec the price was just too attractive and i'm willing to take the risk (which was pretty acceptable to me bec i read the reviews). received the set in good order and the contents were packed like new. the lcd screen was protected with the plastic as well. shutter count was 100+, flash was like <5 or 10 and there was no internal damage (the 'D' was blank). the warranty card is 'international warranty' and i confirmed with oly sg that the em1 warranty is honored locally.

delivery was by ta-q-bin. i missed the 1st delivery and tried to check it online but the SRE tracking nbr does not work in ta-q-bin. anyway delivery was fast, < 7 days. there is no GST bec seller under declared the value to within our GST rules so the risk is 1) if customs decide to check, it can be troublesome. 2) in event of loss, your recoverable value is less than what you paid for even if there is insurance. but good thing is that Qoo will only release payment to seller after buyer confirm delivery (so there could be some form of mediation)

frankly if the price wasn't this attractive i would hv stuck to my em5.

Ta-q-bin does the local portion.

Can I check with those who have bought from Daiso Qoo, can you really track the order ?

Mine said that it was shipped out at noon Mon but the status have been such since Mon noon ...

I have a feeling that we cannot track the delivery ... cannot be after almost 2 days since shipping out, it is still in Korea, right ?

Also, those who bought it from Qoo, what is the firmware version that you got ?

Is it Ver 1.0 or the latest 1.4 or something in between ?

Thanks

can track from korea to sg customs using SRE tracking. but locally still track via the korean link but not thru ta-q-bin bec the ta-q-bin number is not given.

the firmware ver i got was 1.1. manufacture date as shown on the box is jun 14.

That is my problem, when I key in the SRE number, it keeps saying Status as "HAWB Printed" ... never change at all ... just one line ...

Oh thanks for checking !

Cheers

Thanks jouste ...

No worries... but the thing with ta-q-bin does not leave a delivery note if the recipient is not at home - the website will reflect an attempted delivery

They will usually try to deliver the next day... and yes, they do deliver on Sundays too

Sorry, you may have answered but I am confused ... this ta-q-bin is a chinese courier company in Spore (since you say that they go to your home) ?

That's cool !

Anyone planning to get one soon? I am being attracted by the price too. Was struggling for the risk against the few hundred bucks and their promo with free grip is over.

Ta-q-bin is a Japanese company... Hmmm, let's just say that some people don't like their services -_-"
