Have called Olympus SG to set the record straight.
1. If the warranty card states Worldwide warranty, the camera set is covered. Olympus SG will honor the warranty in short. So breathe a bit easy for those
buying from Qoo10.
2. So when is it not covered?
(a) Korea market sets for example, a clear indication will be their warranty cards state: Limited Worldwide warranty etc
- buying from Qoo means that u won't ever know what card u r getting until the box arrives though.
(b) Parallel sets with no proper paper documentation which is common sense.
not wanting to be a dampener here, but I rather always take the cautious approach then tell pple go BBB then end up cry cry
cry. Need to be responsible for what we write here.
3. In general, my stand from my own experience is that Olympus SG will try their best to accommodate where possible.
