Thanks for sharing the vimeo videos liquidity! I liked how the 'deeninety' video showed what you can do with a 35mm based video camera, really nice. I haven't been tempted to upgrade my DSLR for a very long time (still using my trusty D70) but the new Nikons of late, esp the D700 are really impressive :) Can't wait to see what videos the CS users come up with when using the D90! :D

U are most welcome. :)
I too, am still using my trusty D70s, don't think I will even be selling it off after I get the D90, served me well for my hobby needs and will do so in years to come. Yeah with the new affordable advanced bodies & new lenses, there's never a better time to be a Nikon user. :)

Hahaha... wrong thread? This is the D90 thread, no 50D. :p

read the previous page... some1 was asking the price of the canon, i merely answered it.

Haha yup I missed that... I didn't really expect an answer for a pondering question.

What would be the 50D's strengths over the D90 anyway? Just 14-bit/12-bit and faster fps?

hey guysss

my bro's in US now.. ahah coming back in 6 days..

do you think i should buy it in US?

Would it be much cheaper that it warrants more benefit than the having a warranty??

P.S. i kind of need the Body + Lens (Kit Set)

hmm!!

Some users at the dvxuser videographers forum have gotten their hands on the D90 for 2 days now and have been doing some extensive testing on this baby.

If ur earning is in USD definitely:bsmilie:
As said previously based on observation US prices, inclusive of shipping charges are about the same as SG's when converted back to SGD for current cameras on sale in SG now. My estimate would be ~S$2000 plus minus $100 for body with kit when it starts selling here.

The price in US is cheaper, which baffles me since the manufacturing is probably in Thailand. What's up with Singapore's price?
