Wow! Congrats on the purchase of the D90. Can't wait for you to post some sample images... :)
Do comment as to how you find the metering system too...

Just some casual samples:

Wow... That's looking really good on ISO 3200, any NR on these pics?
Would love to see ISO 6400 as well, thanks for posting :)

High ISO NR On (Normal)....just added H1.0 (ISO6400?). Will try to post some that is turned off later.

I believe no 1 has implemented global shutter on a CMOS yet...but who knows when it will happen. Any yah, if you want to imitate film then 24fps and rolling shutter is the norm.:) But that is for nostalgic feel, may be without all the artifact of rolling shutter might be good.:)

Is it possible to implement global shutter for CMOS? Anyway, if you want the 24p film look, then you need rolling shutter because a film camera uses a rotating shutter.

Hey, thanks for the posts! Really looks good. Any video sample? And how much you pay for the BO? Thanks!!

wow!!!! *drool* nice pics quality even at H1.0.

... anybody wants to buy a 2nd hand d60 kit?? ;)

Yeah, it looks that way in KR's review. However I suspect D300 requires more sharpening than the D90 inherently so that may explain some of the softness.

usually prices cheaper in stores then paper rite?

Hi Synergyworld,

I am curious about the ISO 100 performance too, since its classified as Boosted range, what is the implication? If its convenient, can make some shots with ISO 100 to compare?

Thanks.

As with D300, the ISO100 would probably have a reduced dynamic range.

just came back from CP Peninsula. they have the kit for S$1750
