The vertical grip for D90 is the same as D80 rite? So tempting.
 

Haha, John 3:16 out of stock yesterday at 5pm. Thats WAY faster than i thought it would be. Those are really good prices! maybe i will wait for my friend to be ready to buy a D300 and possibly another friend wanting to buy Canon EOS 1000D then we all go together buy :D Hope that it would be cheaper.
 

By the time your friends are ready, it will definitely be cheaper, the price drops by day....:bsmilie:

had try at friend's shop,
quite impressive with liveview/d-movie,
easy access and easy control,
lv it so much,
too bad i'm own d300 liao,
no more budget for camera body,
prepare for my trinity lens...
 

Hi frds, any updates on prices for a grey set. I am an expatriate n will leave singapore soon, so either go for a grey D90 or a local canon set, as nikon DSLR don't have the international warrenty:thumbsd: while canon has it:thumbsup:. I want D90 although.

I got both my Nikon D90 kit and Canon EOS 50D today yeah.

Nikon D90 Kit at $1650 (with 4gb SD card and reader) and Canon EOS 50D at $1860 (with 4Gb CF card and EOS bag). Both include GST alraedy.

So happy.

If i'm not wrong, even Canon bodies don't have international warranty?

Think Canon offers regional warranty like China and India, but not international.

I think it is quite possible that there will be no grey set for D90. Reason being the price differential between the market is quite marginal. It would seem unprofitable to sell.

Why not consider getting it over there instead?

I don't have the D90 but if Nikon is consistent, AI & AiS lenses can be used on all D(two-digit) series... but you have to make do with not only manual focus (which is obvious) as well as "manual metering".

Got mine at 1690 after GST today! Quite surprised to still see stocks... I thought after yesterday shops will start to jack up price liao... :bsmilie:

Battery will be charging soon... Tonight should be able to play with low-light ISO performance liao! :D

Cannot jack up price leh.... Canon 50D will be released not much higher next week.
