My dream DSLR will be a D700 + HD video (1080i/p or minimal 720p) and call it a D700V. It should be full frame. Non-full frame will be in 1-2 yrs time a thing of the past like film cameras. i.e. D90V (full frame + video). I will put that 1K-2k (for simple HD video camera) into lens and memory cards instead with the new camera.

You zoom with your hand, no? Dun think any F-mount lenses have motorized zoom leh.. The AF could be triggered with a AF-ON.

I hope Nikon at least disable auto ISO in M mode in D90. To me, it is a "inconvenient" feature when in M mode.

But that is useful for me. For example, when I shoot some action indoors, I go for the M model, 1/500s and F4 and let the cam decide on the ISO in auto ISO. Becos I dun wanna to be in S mode and aperture will go down to F2.8 which is not that sharp to me.

August 18--Nikon's next scheduled press conference is August 27th. I've already noted that the D90 and 18-105mm lens will be introduced shortly, so I think it likely that those two items are on the schedule for that meeting. The question everyone is asking is "what else?"

I read it as ... the ISO can be set from 200 to 3200
it can be set higher to ISO Hi - 6400 or Lo - 100 in auto mode

Wish I knew what I'm babbling here... I am a Noob!

anyway I hope it will be available before the mid-Autumn Festival ....
