Hi everyone,

good to know so many D90ians. I got mine from Lord few weeks ago. Just happened to see this thread a minute ago. This is my first DSLR so hope to learn more on photography from you gurus. I also registered for the D90 Nikon class on the 16th Jan 09. Hope to see you guys there.

Hi Chi_noy,

regarding your question on installment plan, I think MSColor provide that service but of course you will be paying more. You can call them and check out more info on that. Tel:6457 6380.

Hi Sin77,

I will be more then happy to join you guys for the outing on 10th Jan but that day I will have my incamp briefing starting at 1300 hrs, maybe I will join you guys after that.

Is the 2nd battery an original?

How much does it cost.

I've called up a number of shops for the original battery but no stock.

Yes, it's an original EN-EL3e Battery from Nikon.
$70

anybody know which shop has stock for the D90 remote?

Anyone know whether there are shops or experienced photographers who conduct courses for the D90?

TK should have, just bought one wireless one from the few days back.

is it good and is how much?
It is infrared, right? can d90 use non-infrared wireless?

Hi!

I also jus bought a D90 18-105 kit lens with free 4gb sdhc + nikon pro bag + nikon tripod for $1650.

If got D90 outing must jio ok :D

How about a few post of pictures taken with the D90.

Is the thread for how much the camera was bought for or is it to discuss /show/share how good it is ?

How about some examples of what it can achieve in good hands ;p

Just thought I'd share my experience with the D90 which I purchased end Oct 2008. I was really caught up in this whole DSLR thingy and was snapping away like crazy. I recently just got back from China where the temperature dropped to almost -1C. The D90 did not fail in anyway. The battery life was just a bit shorter than normal because of the cold. The only glitch I had was with my Tamron 28-75mm f2.8 when it would stopped Auto focus. I have to zoom in and out to get it back on. This did not happen in Singapore. Please enjoy a few shots I have taken...God bless.

Pictures all shot in Manual mode and RAW with the Tamron 28-75mm f2.8 and processed in Lightroom.
