Haha. Talking about being poisoned, i was recently being poisoned to go into macro. Any suggestions on which macro lens produces the best result on d90?? Result in terms of image sharpness and performance.
guys,
I am wondering what software do you guys used to process D90 raw files.
I have ACR5.7 and viewnx. Which one is better?
Pro for ACR
1) easier on my workflow as integrated with Photoshop
2) auto mapping out of hot pixels. I have one red one.
3) highlight defringe a substitute for auto CA removal in viewnx???
4) less heavy NR. Viewnx seems by default applies some NR to ISO3200 which I cannot remove.
5) ACR introduced D2X mode 1 color profile so it will be pretty close to viewnx colors.
Pro for ViewNX
1) its nikon
2) auto CA removal but does not map out hot pixel
any thoughts on this? my main concern is about CA as the afs 50mm f1.4 lens which will live on my D90 show a fair bit of CA.

you prefer primes, but lazy to switch lenses? huh??????It has the longest reach but read that above 200mm the AF starts to hunt..
Lazy to switch lens that's why.. Haha..
My preference is still shooting with primes..
