Could I make the Image Number Series.
I couldn't find it on the menu's.
I shoot 500++ already, then cut the pictures, then the new picture got a filename starting to 0001 once again. can this be changed?

i thought the file sequence will restart after hitting the limit!

Take the plunge? Aiyo I have been feeling this urge to just go and get it and then don't look back. Don't wanna look around for anymore alternatives because it's getting confusing. I don't wanna switch loyalties and I will stick to Nikon for sure!

Oh but what lens can I get along with the D90? I need it to shoot high-speed moving cars and races. Please advise, thanks!

AFS 70-200 VRII F2.8 is the one you should get.

yup it could be changed. it's in the settings.

Depends on your shooting habits, as well as your settings and if you review a lot or use VR lenses or use the on board flash.

Average is very subjective. Battery life can be affect by any of these factors (not restricted to these either). Some of these factors like Liveview and on board flash, affect the battery life very drastically.

- Use of Live view
- Auto Image review right after shot
- Use of on board flash
- Using VR
- Focusing modes
- Using the LCD to change or review settings

Not using liveview, not using on board flash, not using VR, AF on single point AF-Single mode, Use of top panel for all settings reference, auto image review is on. And do photo review on LCD normally, I can squeeze around 600-650 shots per charge.

I own 4 batteries. Only really need 2 but bought 2 more recently as I was travelling and shooting in -20 deg C temperatures.

yea i agree it's very subjective! but it usually last for me for a day shooot. probably a few tiny bars left at the end of the day.

I only have 1 battery. Getting a second soon.

How long it lasts? Don't really take much... then about 1.5 day...

If I'm covering gigs... 2-3 hrs? About 500 shots/battery... I match no. of memory cards with battery...

Depends on whether you are using the built-in flash. When I'm using the built-in flash - I can get up to 300 to 400 shots. When I am using my SB-600 it can go up to 700 to 800..

Hi Gurus, need some help here. Can the Nikkor ED 80-400mm f/4.5-5.6D VR fit the D90? I am quite lost in the different types of mounts ...etc..etc....
