Haha. Poison liao. If you pondering whether to get 35mm or 50mm, try shooting at both focal lengths on your kits lens to see which focal length you more comfortable with. Haha

Dream? I dreamt 3 times today... Woke up from a dream before 5:30. Woke up from another sometime at 8, and then woke from the last one before 9.30.... And for the life of me, can't remember any one of them....

The thought has come across my mind many times... I wake up at 5:30 coz my kid goes to school early - so, helping to prepare breakfast and then accompany him downstairs for the schoolbus... Maybe one of these days I'll do a follow up to MBS to catch some rays...

if you guys are intending to shoot MBS with the Helix Bridge, you might want to do tt after all the ongoing construction has been completed or go shoot before the contruction spotlights are on. Previous time I went, they turned on the lights at about 0700 or so. It seriously sucks to have the rest of the frame in correct exposure but yet the lights there are blown. If going during weekends, check out the Gatherings & Outings threads so tt you don't clash with any outings. You might not be able to find a optimum spot to shoot from.

Sure, PM me your HP number, it is going to be an impromptu affair - won't have time to go online to message. My kid's bus comes and leaves at around 6:30ish, after which I'll take a bus ride down to MBS (very likely to drop off at NTUC stop)... And it can happen at any day.

I think the best spot for MBS against a rising sun would be near NTUC center... correct me if I'm wrong... the Helix will be obscured from view.

the lights of the Helix won't be blown. It's the construction spotlights. But if you're shooting from NTUC centre then I think it's safe. haha

LOL! We'll see how it goes. Just talk only not even sure I can do it during weekdays. But I will try since I'm up that early anyway...

Edit: as for weekends, a bit tougher - tend to oversleep coz whole family tend to stay up late on Fri

Did it using Photoshop... ;p but there should be other softwares available, others in-the-know can help.

paint also can.. lolx.. but troublesome.
juz create a background you wan den paste your picture in. den save as JPEG.
there you have a simple framing for your photo.

Use photoshop. Go to "canvas size" then increase by 1cm and choose white. Then repeat but increase by 4cm and choose black. That's how i do it. The simplest and cheapest way for me. All my pics are like that, see if you like the look.

its more of a personal preference i believe. There no strict rules to say it must be that way.
