my friend gotten a tokina 100mm F2.8 at $750 brand new.
i am not sure how big a diff between this two lens.

Pls do not think this way. It's just tt we know each other a little more since we met face to face to chat and to exchange pointers with regards to D90. So anyone is actually free to join in the conversations, contribute anything, share shots, or even poison us.

Yea dont think about it that way. It does not just revolve around us. We always welcome more people to come and chat and have fun. Ultimately, everyone of us here are here because we enjoy using our D90 :bsmilie:
BTW dont worry about being a newbie. I am a newbie too, having bought my D90 1 & 1/2 months back. The learning curve is steep, but the patience and helpfulness of people around here makes it fun too!

Whoever can answer your question will follow up. This thread is more for D90 user to come in and share their thoughts about their equipment, skills, knowledge etc.
We are not really a group but more of a group of Nikon D90 user whom have met ones or even twice to share and talk about our precious Nikon D90. All of us in this thread regardless of race, nationality or languages are having one thing in common is that we love to shoot and we also want to share our experience and learn from one another.

Hi, new CS member here. Just to say hi to every one. Got my D90 in Jan, very happy with the camera. Been following this thread long time, even before I got my camera. I see the responses very active in this thread, think soon need to open another thread already.

its not lousy. Its nice..In fact its sharp to me and the lightings are well controlled. But the person at the right side kinda of extra =X
I agree. pretty nice shot bro. I think the stone thingy at the front of the pic could have been done without though.
