Do check carefully though:
The price using the card may be slightly higher than the cash/Nets price (which is usually the case with our local retailers anyway; in case you have not already known)

A couple of things I have noticed about the D50:

1. The LCD is really really bright, the brightest I have ever seen on a DSLR. I don't think it is truly representative of the final picture so be careful in trustng it. Highlights look blown-out when in fact they are not. Use the histogram to be sure.

2. During night shoots and using A-mode (Aperture Priority) and f11 to f16, the meter seems to be fooled into thinking there is not enough light and displays LO. When set onto M-mode, the correct exposure can be found, in this case it was f11 and 20". Not sure if the LO display is there just to tell you that it's dark but hey, you know that because you can see, right?

3. Lack of light for top display is annoying for night shoots - keep a torch or hp handy! The self-timer icon is also really small and difficult to see in low-light.

Apart from these few things, seems like a great little camera for newbies to DSLR.

Usually around 2% to 5% more depend on shops..

Do check hiden cost from the bank ie procesing/admin charge etc.

Thanks for the reminder......:D

whats a 123 software ?
It's the Digital Imaging 123 software, crippled software until you buy the full version.
