Yesterday went to Tampines Best Denki to check out the deal, selling at $1388 with 1gig sd card n 1 bag only. Not really atttractive deal compare to stanly's one. Will go parkway best denki later to check out their deal there.

Also went to courts yesterday, $1388 for 2 1gig sd card, bag, tripod, etc.

Too bad can't play with it now as still charging the batt, was told for the 1st usage to charge for 10 hours.

Confirmed that not all best denki offer the same promotion for the discounted lens n free gift.

Also bought the 55-200mm len at $150.

Every rechargeable battery have a fix number of cycle of charging.

Who cares? At the rate batteries are being replaced and batteries are every changing, even if the EN-EL3E is promised 1000 charge cycles, assuming 3 charges/mth for a hobbyist, 12 mths = 36 times, 1000 / 36 = 27years.

By the end of 2nd year, probably already changed batteries or new camera.

I had no problems with all the EN-EL3s I used on my ex-D100/D70 without the 10 hours charge. Lifespan, full capacity, just as good as I can imagine and use without worrying.

Don't think so, it's part of the promotion for buying D50 and a discounted price for that lens.

Haha, won't be buying too many stuffs so soon yet.
Buying the D50 already burned a hole in my pocket already.
And my gf will prolly kill me if I start to buy anymore add-on stuff so soon.

My co-worker already started to tempt me with his nikon flash, lens for his D200 on my D50 to show me the diff with those picture taken.
But I think I still need to learn the feature n control on my D50 and improve photography skill n knowledge before I can move another steps towards buying add-on. :bsmilie:
