D7000 users...fall in!!! Part 3

It's not exactly a portrait lens bro. If that's what wishes80 is looking for, sorry for recommending this. It's a wide angle lens that can achieve very low DOF (when you focus something close while leaving a large area behind the subject to be OOF, works the same if applied the opposite). Google for some pictures of this lens, you can then compare the pictures with what you can produce on ur 18-105mm at 18mm F/3.5. But then again, it's not a lens for everyone and it commands a very high price.

Yeah I know, but people do tend to take portraits with whatever they have on their camera, and then wonder why their subject has a big flat nose.

I use at least a 50 for portraits... Now waiting for the 85mm f1.8G

Haf u check with Bally Photo since they were the Authorised dealer for Nikon Singapore during the recent IT show? Perhaps they might haf some left..
