But then again, it's not a lens for everyone and it commands a very high price.

Yeah I know, but people do tend to take portraits with whatever they have on their camera, and then wonder why their subject has a big flat nose. :p

I use at least a 50 for portraits... Now waiting for the 85mm f1.8G :D

haha....it's too bad that i bought the D5100 3 months ago. was thinking to get the D7000 but then have to offload my D5100 first before.....haiz......

I'm thinking to upgrade my d5000 soon. But no stock haha

Haf u check with Bally Photo since they were the Authorised dealer for Nikon Singapore during the recent IT show? Perhaps they might haf some left..

Hmmm. Bally photo. I had a bad experience with them. The bigger shop anyway.

SLRR posted in fb that they have the d7000 kit in limited stocks, with price increase. Check it out.
(btw, same owner as Bally right?)

Asked for quote oledi :). Ya but my experience at SLRR have been quite good as compared to Bally. :dunno:
