Eh can i ask something haha? so with local warranty = local set? =x

For those looking for the vertical grip and spare battery for their D7000, iPhoto aka Lords have a few sets in store, local set with warranty... Just got from them yesterday... $270 for grip and $70 for battery...

So hurry and reserve if u kancheong like me... ;)

Seriously, I really dun understand why is this grip so expensive. The MB-10 grip is expensive because it can boost FPS of the D700 by 3 and D300s by 1. With all other usual knobs buttons included, what does the MB-11 has? Earthquake issues aside btw, let not discuss about price hike, just technical advantage that it has over other grips.

It's the demand. Practically everyone is chionging for D7k, and if not wrong this grip is weather proof.
I see no reason y need to get the grip to increase the weight? The battery is more than sufficient for few hundred shots..

So, besides the built and battery compartment, there is still no advantage of the MD-11 over MD-80? I'm not talking about compatibility here.

Hi guys, can i ask if anyone is used 3rd party battery here for their d7k? haha

there's no need for one ;) you'll be surprised by how well the D7000's battery works

Hell yeaa. Took 600+ shots & battery still half full!

But still getting battery grip for the portrait and grip..

Yeah I agree on that...I took a few 5min+ videos, took about 350+ shots and my battery was still slightly more than half full!! :D

On a side note, I got my D7000 last december :)
