You should forgo the kit lens, unless you really want it. Or think u can it off more than the differents betw. kit set price and body only price. Use the money to invest in a better F/2.8 lens such as the Tamron 17-50mm.

The last D7000 body only set I bought (for my friend) is $1679 from Funan two weeks ago. You may want to double check the price again from the various shop.

Was just at SLRR and was quoted $1852 for kit, $193 for 50mm f1.8d.
if you are new to DSLR, can consider the kit lens or any other lens within the same budget.

Tk Foto has body alone stock going for $1679.

And 190 ish for a 50 1.8 is expensive ! just pick up a used one from the Buy/sell.

u should forget about kit set unless u want the kit lens... it is so hard to sell the kits lens even when new.. my experience...

Yeahh kit lens flooded the 2nd hand market..guess ppl thought to earn back via selling..

i went ahead and got the body only with a tamron 17 -50. Happy guy todae! i recommend SLR Revo too, but i tink i bought the last set todae. haha. price can fight with tk.
