I wasted my money on 8gb transcend class 10 too... :(

Me too. But you can't compare the same way though. Transcend apparently only Max 20mb. I tested myself only reached 16mb. But only costs 20+. Can't complain too much haha

Do take note that sandisk sd cards are classed not based on their specs. A class 6 sandisk can actually be classed as a class 10 card. The sandisks r extremely fast, but u also pay a higher price.

Here's a link to Class classification

i guess so. almost every shop quoted me $1590 in funan. maybe should try sim lim.

The value of our Nikon products just appreciated! Haha.

Which store in Funan that offers the lowest price for D7000 kit? and what are the freebies you saw guys?

thanks.

Hi fellow D7k users,

I need your feedback on this issue i am having with my D7k. Well, not exactly an issue but i just wanna check if its widespread amongst D7k users or isit just i sway.

You see, i own a tamron 17-50 f2.8 BIM non-VC and a sigma 10-20mm f4-5.6 EX DC. Both lenses can AF and produce the sharp pics when i shoot in viewfinder. But when i switch to liveview, both lenses cant AF. in fact, the body will try and focus on a spot nearer and nearer to me each time i try to focus lock, and the image on the liveview gets blurrer and blurrer.

However, when i try the liveview AF using my nikkor 50mm f1.8D and nikkor 55-200mm VR, both can AF in liveview with no issues. =(

So is anyone else facing the same issue or isit only my set of gear?

Thanks guys.

Well, it's a short drive across the causeway and you save $300. Well worth the trip=)

But no local warranty . That's the problem when u want to go to kl for servicing . Anyway sorry for off thread .

did d7k drop to 1.5k range ?
yep its in the 1.5k range. after asking around in sim lim, i got a better quote and freebies as compared to funan. $1560 for the body.
