What is the maximum ISO you guys will use on a D7000?? hmm

Depends on your preference. I hardly go above 1000, but sometimes i go up to 1600 (very very rare). Never pass that.

u guys shld go higher man since d7000 has superb noise handling for a DX sensor, n even more so than d300s. if i can afford to use iso 1600 on my d300s without problems, i dun see why u guys can't use iso 1600 n higher on a d7000

i peak at 500+ in daylight and 2000 in school halls. in my school's hall, even if i shoot at 1/60 and f/3.5, i still need minimum 2000 to get even.

Pretty good, it's very usable even at 3200

not that bad actually. the noise is noticeable when you blow it up on the screen, but it's still acceptable. people won't notice since they usually just swipe across the images for a review

What do you usually shoot? I constantly go up to 3200-6400 + f2.8 or faster lenses to get decent shutter speed in demanding situations...especially indoors.

Got my D7000 last month. I upgraded from D60 to D7000. Whew, it felt like i am new again to photography. all the functions and controls are way better and way different from my od D60. but yah, D7000 is a good upgrade.

Using my friend's D90 made me realize how easy it was for most of the functions i needed to access, rather than having to fiddle thru menus. Truly a great improvement!

Outdoors , ISO 200-320
Indoors , ISO 400-500
At Night, ISO 1600-3200 (No Flash, IQ will suffer but I use this type of pics on FB they reduce the quality until you can't tell) - Really Powerful low noise camera!
At Night, ISO 500 (With Flash)

Transcend Class 10 SDHCs are slow in the D7000s. The Sandisk Extreme 45mb/s clear the buffer significantly faster. Wasted so much money on a stack of 8GB Transcends. Bonfire anyone?
