D7000 user...fall in!!! Part 2

Hi fellow D7k users,

I need your feedback on this issue i am having with my D7k. Well, not exactly an issue but i just wanna check if its widespread amongst D7k users or isit just i sway.

You see, i own a tamron 17-50 f2.8 BIM non-VC and a sigma 10-20mm f4-5.6 EX DC. Both lenses can AF and produce the sharp pics when i shoot in viewfinder. But when i switch to liveview, both lenses cant AF. in fact, the body will try and focus on a spot nearer and nearer to me each time i try to focus lock, and the image on the liveview gets blurrer and blurrer.

However, when i try the liveview AF using my nikkor 50mm f1.8D and nikkor 55-200mm VR, both can AF in liveview with no issues. =(

So is anyone else facing the same issue or isit only my set of gear?

Want to check if anyone of you lost your rubber strape at the connection point of the external battery grip and how much you get it? I lost mine.Sigh...Need to search for it.

NSC should have this. You can just tell them. Price wise should not be too expensive. I replaced a D3100, side rubber flap for $2.

On one side of my D7000, the metal triangle which holds the neck strap got caught in an impact. The black plastic thingy fell off and the metal triangle is now slightly crooked. Everytime I slide my strap in it gets damaged. Anyone knows how long it takes to replace this?

Seezhijie, u can also buy another type of strap tat mount on the bottom.( where mount tripod)

have been using it for a few days but i think i'm having a little problem with the memory card.
it gives me error once in a while and i have to remove the card and slot it in again to restart the cam.
is that a card problem or cam problem?

i'm using Sandisk Extreme 16GB SDHC-1 Class 10.

Have you tried using other cards to see if it happens again?

I have this same exact problem! I have Card Error (Crd Err on control panel) with my two Sandisk 8Gb Class 4 (Basic Blue ones), Kingston Class 6 and Panasonic Class 4. But the error is for frequent when using the SanDisk one, can fellow users please advise!!!

Lost quite a few picture moments due to this error!

Hmm I'm using the Kingston class 6 8gb so far no problem lei.. is it the card problem?

im guessing its the card problem. the error didn't occur with my 8GB, but it happens to the 16

I have a class 10 transcend 32Gb (slot 1) paired with a sandisk class 4 ultra 16Gb (slot 2).
So far so good, have not faced this issue before.
