Bring ur laptop, a card n card reader. Shoot with ur card, read the picture with ur laptop to check count. The above can only b done if they allow u to.

Sorry, newbie question. Please explain what you mean by "read the picture to check count". Do you mean check the properties of the picture.

It is the shutter count that the camera already has.

I think the 18-200mm lens may not be a nikon lens. =}
It's not the first time they play this stun. Check the last food & electronics fair. What was given was a Sigma 18-200mm F3.5-F6.3.

I see, so you won't know this until you get there and take a look

Yep. I checked that out. It's a tamron. I'm looking at a nikkor.

For the brave heart who want to repair their own cam without warranty or those Pinkon wannabe :bsmilie:

hi, just bought a D7000. Intend to get a dry cabinet. Am deciding between the Digicabi AD080 and the Aipo AP88EX. Any comments on these 2 cabinets? It seems the Aipo is selling $100 less if bought from Malaysia. If I choose Aipo, where is the nearest shop in JB? Thanks.

Eh, look at the exif information of the picture, not the general properties.

U may want to go down n take a look at the physical unit first. I changed my mind in the 60L after I saw it. N if u bought from JB, u may not have warranty?

hello, i just bought my nikon d7000 yesterday, very happy with the functions. However there's this problem that's bugging me, when i hold the camera in a potrait position sometimes it says no SD inserted. (when it has) so i usually trouble shoot i.e take it out and put it back in, solving the problem but i'm losing precious moments each time i troubleshoot. I want to ask if anyone else has this problem, or could it be the SD card, it's from sandisk (free one that came with the camera). sigh.

Test out the sd card first? Try another working sd card in the camera. If it's still problematic, it could b faulty sd card slot on ur camera. If it's the sd card faulty u can get it changed. If its camera, get shop to give u a new set.

anyone tried buy D7000 body +18-200mm lens? How much will it be. No sigma lens plz. lol

^I've been looking for this deal. I asked at slrr they quoted me 2750. if buy online, will be $2200 before gst

Hmm, not sure if you guys face a similar problem. But is the d7000 susceptible to dust/ other dirt in the sensor ?

I am pretty sure i take extra precaution when changing lenses and i avoid changing lenses in Windy/ sandy areas. However,

DUST !!!!!!

yeah, it does attract some dust. but a blower always works for me..aim camera down and keep blowing and best if there is no big wind movement in the place ur doing it..else more dust go in.

Did you format the SD Card first time you use it..... make it a habit to do so if you have not..... very likely SD card problem..... unless you so "lucky" to get lemon set..... never encounter once in so many years of purchasing DSLR...... SD card another story...... format it or use another SD card to try...... if another one no problem, then SD card problem... another also got problem, either both SD card faulty or you got a lemon set... get it changed.....

mine also kena dust. 1 of it could be removed with blower but the one near the center could not. I'm trying to conduct and MO to bring in photosol's digital survival kit (10units only), for those who dare to clean their sensor. Still pending Mod's approval in the mass order section.
