The software that prevents your wallet from buying too many lenses and flashes and other accessories

Tried my D7000 with 50f1.8D, satisfied with the output photo.

hi guys,

here is a list of sd cards approved by nikon for the d7000. as the d7000 uses dual sd card, it is best if we stick with nikon's suggestion. i was using the transcend 16gb class 10 and i get alot of corrupted pictures. however my lexar class 4 8gb works perfectly fine.

Hmm your kit lens not enough?

im a videographer. SD cards are important if you want to shoot HD videos or really alot of burst shooting. I'd recommend a minimum of 30mb/s write speed. that is the bare minimum if you want to shoot continuous video without any buffer issues. (for weddings in my case)

if you use the normal SD cards. (class4). there is a chance your video will stop recording after a few seconds. or you might miss a few frames for burst shooting if you shoot sports

for me..

the new 50mm prime.. (most of the time)..

can anyone tell me whether a 55-200mm or a afs 70-300mm work well on D7000? crop factor play apart right? Thank you very much.

maybe i should say which tele zoom is better. 70-300mm is a FX len correct? will it work well on a dx d7000?

all FX lenses will work well on DX cameras but not vice versa. crop factor for D7000 is 1.5, so what you see from a 70-300 on a D7K is in the 105-450 range on a FX camera.

what do you need the telephoto for? What are you going to shoot? between these 2, i'll go for 70-300 if I've got the $.
y?
1) Cos it's an FX lens (which means if I upgrade to FX body, i can still use this) and
2) it's 300mm reach. Can zoom in closer to subject. But, that depends on your usage as well. Do you need such close zoom?

i'm using 55-200mm on my D7k....it's working fine... Nikkor is still the best...
